Project Overview
About the organization
CareSource is an industry-leading, multi-state, multi-plan, government-sponsored health care organization that’s reimagining health care. A nationally recognized, nonprofit managed care organization serving over 2 million members, CareSource administers one of the largest Medicaid managed care plans in the U.S., offering a variety of health insurance plans including Medicaid, Medicare and Health Insurance Marketplace products.
What I did
For the CareSource MyLife App, I led the design of a new mobile application focused on discovery-embedded Person-Centered Planning, aimed at supporting members with complex health needs. My work centered on activating members through an engaging and incentivized digital format, which facilitated the creation of new data profiles representing their unique needs and wants. This enabled the tailoring of services, resources, and benefits to deliver positive outcomes, aligning with the platform's 'one member, one journey' philosophy. My responsibilities included overseeing the design of the application's initial MVP, specifically for the 'Moms and Babies' population, and developing a complete Design System to ensure its scalable evolution beyond the initial phase.
